Silver lined wooden ring. Will it make my ring stronger?

I use a cross laminating process for all my wooden rings, which means two or three layers of timber are glued with the grain running in different directions. This makes them strong and reduces the natural movement of the timber. Having a silver liner will add an additional layer of strength to your wooden ring further enhancing its durability.
