Banded (Australian Mulga) | Wooden Ring

This sophisticated handmade wooden ring is made from one of Australia’ s most robust desert timbers, Mulga. Mulga is a member acacia genus of plants and is found though out the inland regions of Australia. I combine this incredible native timbers with thin trips of ebony, to create the beautiful contrasting pattern. By altering the grain direction of the timbers I further enhance the strength of the turned ring.

You can now add a silver liner to this ring.  Adding a silver liner to the inside of your ring highlights the natural beauty of the timbers while also increasing the longevity of your wooden ring.

All my rings are made to size. Once I have turned your ring to the perfect size, I carefully sand its surface and apply a few light coats of oil and wax. This gives your ring a beautiful tactile feel.

Production and delivery timeframe

​​I make your ring to order in my Melbourne studio and it takes me approximately ten to fifteen business days for production. Once it’s ready I'll box it up and post it to you anywhere in Australia or around the world. If you need your ring a little sooner, please contact me and I'll see if I can speed up the process for you.
